Feed your face at Open Source Food

Filed under: Open Social — @ 7:00 am

Filed under: Fun, Internet, Social Software When we first wrote about Open Source Food, we said we loved the idea but the site needed some love. Well, it seems that OSF’s creator, Jon Yongfook Cockle, thought the same thing because he’s overhauled the whole enchilada and it’s tastier than ever. Navigation is much more intuitive and background is minimalist so pictures of the delicious dishes really stand out (warning: some of the food pictures will make you want to lick your screen). Filed under: Open Social — @ 12:07 am

Chatback uses the web-based Google

The Mic is On: We’re Talking About Aliens!

Filed under: Open Social — @ 7:00 pm

It’s Like Open Mic Only Different Here’s how it works. It’s like any rambling conversation. Don’t try to read it all. Jump in whenever you get here. Just go to the end and start talking. EVERYONE is WELCOME. The rules are simple — be nice. There are always first timers and new things to talk about. It’s sort of half “Cheers” part “Friends” and part video game. You don’t know how much fun it is until you try it. Have we seen one lately? We might talk about: UFOs Area 51 Twilight Zon

Filed under: Open Social — @ 7:00 am

Filed under: Fun, Internet, Linux, Web services, Open Source, Social Software Twitter doesn’t have a grouping feature yet (even though they said 7 months ago it was “at the top of their list”) but that hasn’t stopped a group of open source aficionados from finding a way to form one anyway. Five Twitterers including SourceForge’s Ross Turk and open source analyst extraordinaire Raven Zachary launched The Pulse of Open Source today, calling it a “collective stream of consciousness from the open

The 26 Week Internet Marketing Plan

Filed under: Open Social — @ 4:46 pm

If I said to you, you can learn about Internet Marketing in a weekend, and implement a thorough Strategic Internet Marketing plan in just 26 weeks, you might react in two negative ways; depending on your perspective. I know I did. How can you provide me a strategic plan? That’s nonsence. or 26 weeks? That’s too slow, too lethagic. I’ve changed my mind. And I’d urge you to think again. I VERY rarely recommend items on this blog, but this deserves a mention……. When the authors of the 26 W
